He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Collins and Shirley Collins; and his siblings, Donald, Jr. and Nanci. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Jay Collins, Jr. (Irena) and Megan Schmidt (Christopher); his grandchildren, Ellie, Vivian and Nathan; his siblings, Linda, Stephen, Michael, Noreen, Peggy and Jonathan; and his sister-in-law Karen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home (781 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeffrey's memory to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (themmrf.org) would be greatly appreciated by his family.
