He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Leo and Mary Meyer; wives: Olive (nee Braga) and Marjorie Gold Meyer; brothers and sisters: Leo, Alfred, Arthur, Eugene Meyer, Mary Post and Alice Bereznak; children: Diane (Gary) Lorber, Laurie (Sandor) Einstein, Donna Gamsby (the late Mark Gamsby), Lisa (Joe) DiBonaventura, Ronald John Meyer and Michael (Celeste) Meyer; stepsons: Kevin (Jenny) and Brian (Cynthia) Brennan; grandchildren: Nicholas (Adria) Rigano, Daniel (Karina) Rigano, Jared (Heather) Einstein, Ben (Lucy) Einstein, Emily (Sean) Meehan, Scott (Kristen) Gamsby, Sean Gamsby, Kyle (Danielle) Gamsby, Olivia (Matthew) Palmer, Aileen Meyer, Rylan Meyer, Rachel Meyer, Gabrielle Meyer and Catherine Meyer; step-grandchildren: Bradley (Regan) McArthur, Matthew (Alexis) McArthur, Skylar Brennan, Oliver Brennan and Graham Brennan; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Cedar Crest Chapel (1 Cedar Crest Dr, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444). A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Laurel Grove Memorial Park (295 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
