She is survived by: her sibling's children, Dan Klein Jr. (Deloris) of Stillwater, PA, William Klein of Rivervale, NJ, Carol Gibson of Southport, NC and Barbara Krukas of Southport, NC. She is also survived by six grand-nieces and nephews and nine great-grand-nieces and nephews.
She was widely recognized for her contributions to the field.
