He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine O'Brien (Donovan) and David O'Brien; and his brother Reverend David G. O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Murphy); his daughters, Kelly (Thomas), Erin (David) and Maureen (Karl); and his grandchildren, Colleen, Shannon, Maggie (Danny), Ryan and Emma.
