With solemn reverence, we commemorate Barbara E. Greenstein of Princeton, New Jersey, born in Rochester, New York, whose life came to an end on October 16, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Fred I. Greenstein (Princeton Professor Emeritus); and her sister Elizabeth Cayer. She is survived by: her children, Michael Greenstein (Nettie Kurtz Greenstein), Amy Dahn (William Dahn) and Jessica Greenstein (Eric Hollman); her grandchildren, Ryan Dahn (Katya Motyl), Emma Greenstein, Cory Dahn (Tyler Van Derveer), Nathan Greenstein, Benjamin Hollman and Samuel Hollman; her great grandchild Felix Dahn-Motyl; and her siblings, Dorothy Maples and George Elferink. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Vassar College Fund, Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, or Princeton Pro Musica.
