Brian M. Hughes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian M. Hughes of Princeton, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Brian M. Hughes to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parent Governor of New Jersey; and his brothers, Richard, Robert, Thomas Hughes and Timothy Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Rago Hughes; his son Sullivan; his siblings, John Hughes (Claudia), Michael Murphy, Patrick Murphy, Mary Hughes and Helen Hughes Patterson (David); his sister-in-law Michelle Rago; his mother-in-law Sharon Naeole (Jeffrey Jost); and his pet Nora. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Throughout his final years in office, he directed the county's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, helping to ensure access to testing and vaccinations.
