She was predeceased by: her husband James Chen; her grandson Jeremy Peterson; and her siblings, Ann Hsu, Bi Lan, Su Lan, Keiyu Chuang and Shigai Chuang.

She is survived by: her daughters, Audrey Chen, Bernice Chen (Scott Alcott) and Clarice Chen (Brian Edgecombe); her grandchildren, Gavin Alcott, Zoe Alcott, Avery Peterson, Seamus Edgecombe and Quinn Edgecombe; her siblings, Shizu Chen, Getusubai Ju and Jeff; and her sister-in-law Yoko Chen. She is also survived by many other in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
