He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis E. Vanmarcke and Rachel Vanmarcke (VanHollebeke). He is survived by: his wife Lynne Durkee; his children, Lieven (Manisha VanMarcke), Anneke (Edward Forzani) and Kristien (Damon Webber); his grandchildren, Thomas, Joseph, William, Christopher, Dax, Ian, Jayson and Anya; and his sisters, Frieda Vanmarcke-Van Belle, Rosa Vanmarcke-Gilissen, Hilde Vanmarcke-Schoonjans, Christa Vanmarcke-Verhaeghe and Gerda Vanmarcke-Cauwenberghs. He is also survived by 3 step-daughters.
