She was predeceased by : her parents, Henrietta (Eichner) and Samuel Diamond; her husband Jerome Saldick; and her brother Norman Diamond. She is survived by : her daughters, Barbara Lee and Diane; and her caregiver Christina Brown.

As Evelyn believed charity begins at home, she would encourage all to put family first.
