He is survived by: his children, Lynn Herrmann Traub of Virginia, Ellen Herrmann (Joel Cohn) of Rhode Island, Frederick W. Herrmann (Brigette) of New Jersey, William Herrmann (Jane) of Texas, Christopher Herrmann (Dana) of California and Timothy Herrmann (Claire) of New York City; his grandchildren, Katie (Owen), Frederick, Elise (Tyler), Caroline (Peter), Amanda (Michael), Elizabeth, Danielle (Patrick), Melissa and Emily; and his great grandchildren, Anne, Lucy, David Frederick and Adelaide.
