He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Rothberg and Helen Rothberg (Rosenberg); and his siblings, Anne Carolyn Reed, Nancy Lee Pierson and Louis Nathan Rothberg.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Nancy Barnes (David) of Chatham, NJ; his granddaughters, Charlotte and Madeleine; and his brother John Charles Rothberg (Diane) of Madison, VA..

“My name is larry hans. I knew harvey through the old guard of princeton. Harvey be friended me at my first meeting over 2 years ago, and most weeks we sat together at the old guard. I knew he preferred aisle seats because of his cane, so i always saved one for him. I so enjoyed his wisdom and conversation and i will certainly miss him! He spoke to me often about the nassau club and i was finally able to accompany him as his guest to a club lunch. My condolences to dr. Rothberg's family”
