Jacqueline DeLarato Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline DeLarato (Princeton, New Jersey), who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Semergieff and Olga Shumsky. She is survived by: her husband Nicholas DeLarato; her children, Nicole Kupersmith (Eric), Kristin and Matthew DeLarato (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Jacob, Aaron, Benjamin Kupersmith, Ava and Reid DeLarato; and her brother Christopher Semergieff (Kathleen).

Viewing was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the All Who Sorrow Russian Orthodox Church (904 Cherry Hill Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St's Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cemetery (1166 Millstone River Rd, Hillsborough Township, NJ 08844).

“Dearest Matthew, Elizabeth, Ava and Reid, May beautiful Jackie be in heaven, and may her memory be eternal. Gregory and I learned today of her passing, and we are deeply saddened that we missed her funeral. We both have very fond memories of her and her great and wonderful heart. We feel truly blessed to have known her. We also want to acknowledge her sacrifice, her many contributions, and her prayers in helping to grow Orthodoxy in Princeton. We are praying with you during this time.”
