We announce the death of Karin Bergesen (Princeton, New Jersey), who passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 87. Karin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef Hnatnicky and Margareta Hnatnicky (Lundèn); and her brother Sven. She is survived by: her husband Richard Bergesen; her son Eric (Amy) of Nashville, TN; her grandchild Wright; her daughter Annika (Mike) of Pelham, NY; her grandchildren, Juliana, Katherine, Alexandra and Matthew; her daughter Barbara (Chris) of Centerport, NY; and her grandchildren, Elisabet, Keira and Torin. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren.
