She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hackett and Olive Whitesell Hackett; her husband John Albert Sims; her daughter Joan M. Pancoast; and her sisters, Miriam Bloemer and Doris Simpkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Marsha S. Klessel (Mike); her grandson Walter J. Stewart (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Ashley Romero (Jeremy), Megan Stewart, Anna and Arthur Johnston; and her great great grandchild Elias Romero.
