He was predeceased by: his parents, John F., Sr. and Eleanor Hawkins Morrissey. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Johnson; his children, John F. Morrissey III (Heather), Mathew Morrissey and Lisa Tolar of Inez, TX; and his sisters, Bonnie Chapman of Alloway and Ruth Sorrells of Long Neck, DE. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
