He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Laura Baker Endres; his grandson Zachary Hand; his siblings, Hank and Sandy Snider; and his mother-in-law Maria Slupianek.

He is survived by: his wife Doris E. Endres; his sons, Douglas (Linda), Jimmy (Lora) and David; his grandchildren, Doug (Kim), Stephanie (Joe), Andrew, Beth Ann, Jimmy (Kristin), Gina, Tremain and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Ryker, Shane, Colton, Audrey, Addie, Atley, Gage, Mara, Layla, James and Augustas.
