He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl R. Savard and Dorothea M. Savard; and his brother Robert E. Savard. He is survived by: his wife Jane Savard; his brother Donald E. Savard; his children, Clare, Matthew McGowan, Adrienne Savard, Katy Savard and Ian Savard (Kaydee Weeks); and his grandchildren, Xavier, Arabella Barnes, Taryn and Declan McGowan.
Donations can be made in Daniel's memory to the American Heart Association and to Witness, a human rights organization founded by Peter Gabriel.
