He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shipley and Alexandra Maciejowski Shipley of Rahway; and his son John JW Shipley. He is survived by: his daughter Jill O'Connell (Matt O'Connell); his wife Judy; his daughters, Virginia Shipley and Tara Guida; his grandchildren, Alyssa Cotto (John), Sabrina Garibay (Tyler), Morgan Irons Taylor (Kobie), Julia Zurbach (Chris), Taylor Pumphrey, Aynalea Guida, Antonia Guida, Alexandra Shipley, Matthew O'Connell, Corinne Shipley and John JW Shipley Jr. John; and his brothers, Al Shipley (Robin) and George Shipley (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
