He was predeceased by: his parent Ophilia Green; his wife Eva Green; and his brother William "Willie" Burns. He is survived by: his children, Janet Green, Jonathan Green Jr., William Green and Stacey Green; and his brothers, Nathaniel Burns and Elijah Burns. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren and he leaves to mourn a host of friends and family.
