He was predeceased by : his wife Doris Freer (Rompa). He is survived by : his sons, Joseph L. Freer II (Kathryn), Douglas Freer (Deborah) and Daniel Freer (Amy); his grandchildren, Taylor, Dalton, Thomas, Austin, Logan and Ethan; and his sister Evelyn Kube.
