We announce the death of Joseph McCarty (Rahway, New Jersey), who passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 71. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Elizabeth McCarty; and his sister Lynda Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Debra Ann Barbato; his children, Kathleen Elizabeth and James Joseph; and his siblings, Charlie, Joanne Banner, Catherine Polny and Barbara Mitchell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
