He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his sons, Leo (Sarah) and Erik (Jasmine); his grandsons, Maksym and Erik; his brother Theodore O'Connell; and his siblings-in-law, Philip Castiglione (Barbara) of Toms River and Rita McCaig (Douglas) of Springfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
