He was predeceased by: his son Jason Rivera; his parents, Etanislao Rivera and Francisca Rivera; his wife Denise Grant-Rivera; and his brother Joe Rivera.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Rivera, Aleise Rivera, Jermaine Grant and Nicole Grant; and his sisters, Nancy Rivera, Haydee Rivera, Anabell Rivera, Diana Rivera, Betty and Jeanette Rivera.
