She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Johann Hartmann and Wilhelmina Hartmann; her husband Dominick Borrello (Mico); her daughter Bernadette; her sisters, Karoline Verheyden and Auguste Heidemann; her nieces, Ingrid Heidemann and Ruth Walters; her nephew Ulrich Verheyden; her sister Annie Alfert; her nephew Hans Alfert of New York; her great-niece Nicole Walters; her goddaughter Helga Strefel (Stefan); her nephews, Jörg Heidemann (Sabine), Ralf Heidemann (Bettina) and Rainer Heidemann (Petra); her adoptive mother Suzanne (James McKay); her granddaughter Samantha; her great grandchildren, Gianna and Vinny Capriglione; her caregivers, Suzanne McKay, Darlene LaVerne, Yaroslava Yavorska, Lucyna Kutzuba and Joseph A. Klenner; and her friend Irene Zehetleitner.
In lieu of flowers, Tante Mia requested that donations be made to her beloved Deutscher Club on Featherbed Lane in Clark.
