She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugo Becker and Hannah Becker; her brothers, Hugo and John; her husband Thomas; and her niece Lisa Becker.
She is survived by: her children, John Murphy (Elisabeth), Amanda Proietti (Gerald) of Black Mountain and Nell Murphy (Garfield George) of Jersey City, NJ; her grandchildren, Gordon Murphy of Boston, Joseph Murphy (Megan) of Alexandria, Virginia, Nicholas Murphy (Madison) of Durham, Emma Proietti of Asheville and Violet Murphy-George of Jersey City; her pet Charly; and her close friend Connie Slater.
