We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2024, at the age of 94, Mary Muir of Rahway, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Latka and Louis Latka; her husband Thomas Muir; her siblings, Julia Barsocchi, Katherine Latka, Louis Latka, Leo Latka and Thomas Latka; and her granddaughter Amy Muir.

She is survived by : her sons, Thomas, James (Margaret), John (Mary Alice), Stephen (Jill) and Robert. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home - Avenel (399 Avenel St, Avenel, NJ 07001). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 9:15 AM and at 10:00 AM. A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at the Saint Mary's Cemetery (669 Madison Hill Rd, Clark, NJ 07066).
