It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Sherrier of Rahway, New Jersey, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Alexander Sherrier; his twin-brother Robert; and his grandson James Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Sherrier (Mitchell); his children, Richard, Jr. (Patricia), James (Karen), William (Michelle) and Sharon (Michael); his grandchildren, Steven, Michael (Megan), Nicholas (Shayna), Kristen Lee (Mario), Sean (Jess), Heather, Kimberly Ann, Billy, Jason and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Riley, Dakota, Michael and Peyton; his sister Barbara Coakley; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Sherrier, Rose Mitchell and June Naia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, god children, good friends and neighbors.
