It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rosalyn McClendon Smith (Rahway, New Jersey), born in Yemassee, South Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin McClendon and Mae McClendon (Cochran); and her siblings, Bernard Jackson, Bernette Shaw and Hydia Butler.

She is survived by: her husband Eddie B. Smith; her grandchildren, Stanford R. Smith (Angelica) of Rahway, Craig Smith (Beverly) of Sayreville, Eddie B. Smith Jr. of Rahway and Sharon Smith of Rahway; and her great grandchildren, Matea, Leo and Milan. She is also survived by her four children.
