She was predeceased by: her mother Venancia Montalvo. She is survived by: her husband Rafael Fuentes-Melendez; her siblings, Arminda Acevedo and Angel Bonilla; her children, Brunilda Capozello (Daniel), Noemi Villani (Vincent), Clarissa Fay (Matthew), Gidget Nelson (Steve) and Alfie Fuentes (Laura); her grandchildren, Elisa, Anthony, Nicolas (Marisol), Joseph (Marissa), Julianna Franklin (Angus), Angelina (Keeler), Dylan (Katie), Natalia, Miranda, Lucas and Oliver; her great grandchildren, Eva, Vincent, Meadow and Viviana; and her brother Luis Cuesta. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church (9 Clinton Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706).
