He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Paul Sander Sr. and Florence Sander; his siblings, Mary Foster, Theresa Maus (Axel), Gerhard Sander (Andrea), Richard Sander Jr. (Marisol), John Sander (Marie) and Stephen Sander (Michele); his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Sullivan, Elle Sander, Lauren Roper (Jackson), Michelle Drahuschak (Michael), Alexis Sander, Grace Sander, Robert Foster (Lori), Daniel Foster (Kaitlin), Richard Sander (Fiona), Jack Sander, Christian Sander (Lindsey) and Stephen Sander Jr.; his great-nieces, Willow, Peyton, Ruby and Riley; and his great-nephew Forest.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maryrest Cemetery (770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430).
