He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Shashaty and Afifeh Shashaty (Chidiac); and his siblings, Agnes, James and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Joy Shashaty (Bruce); his children, Jennifer Shashaty, Carol Casto (Christopher) and Anthony Shashaty Jr.; and his siblings, Antoinette Clabbers (Gerry) and George Shashaty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Santangelo Funeral Home (635 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Bonaventure Church (174 Ramsey St, Paterson, NJ 07501).
