He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl H. Bahr Jr. and Lena V. Bahr; and his sister Margaret West. He is survived by: his children, Scott Bahr (Angel) of Punta Gorda, FL, Chris Ann Bahr of Randolph, NJ, Caryn Moran (Patrick) of Mount Olive, NJ and Colleen Bahr of Mount Olive, NJ.; his son-in-law G. Thomas Neely II of Randolph, NJ.; his grandchildren, Michelle, Scott, Joseph, Lisa, Meghan, Courtney, Jennifer, Michael, Gerald, Charles, Maxwell and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Aleksander, Ariella and Michael; his sister Martha Johann of Highlands Ranch, CO; his wife Dorothy E. Steger; his daughter Bonnie Neely; and his sister Carolyn Treier.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tuttle Funeral Home (272 NJ-10, Randolph, NJ 07869). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St John's Episcopal Church (11 S Bergen St, Dover, NJ 07801). An entombment was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at the Locust Hill Cemetery (168 N Sussex St, Dover, NJ 07801).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mr. Bahr's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, or to St. John's Episcopal Church in Dover, NJ.
