He was predeceased by: his daughter Dawn Marie Cegelka; and his brother Joseph Cegelka. He is survived by: his wife Joan Cegelka (Reese); his children, John Cegelka, Jr., Joe Cegelka and Denise Pluciniak; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Arias, Rebecca Pluciniak-Lis, Makaila Jones and Jakob Cegelka; and his great grandchildren, Jocelyn Arias, Kaslyn Cegelka and Oakley Jones.
