It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deborah J. Lawton in Raritan, New Jersey, born in Denville, New Jersey, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Deborah is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Deborah's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Reid Lawton; her children, Parker Lawton and Alyse; her son-in-law Jim Stanley; and her brothers, William (Nancy), Thomas (Joann) and John (Pam).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (300 Union Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and/or Somerset County Regional Animal Shelter.
