He was predeceased by : his parents, Teresa Riga and Fortunato Riga. He is survived by : his wife Susan Ann; his children, Fortunato "Nato" Riga (Nicole) and Teresa Romano (Carlo); his siblings, Anthony Riga (Cheryl) and Anna Tantillo (Enrico); his grandchild Giancarlo Joseph Romano; his parents-in-law, Mary Ann and Harry McLellan; and his siblings-in-law, Harry McLellan (Lisa), Thomas McLellan, Anthony McLellan (Marlene), Lena Petrone (Larry) and MaryAnn Lopes (Jay). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
