He was predeceased by : his father William Blaney. He is survived by : his mother Mary Blaney; his wife Brenda; his children, Laura Crenshaw (Michael) and Jimmy Blaney (Courtney); his grandchildren, Sloan and Jack; his parents-in-law, Cheryl, Joe Watkins, Denise and Bob Lloyd; his nieces and nephews, Hope, Abby, Ali, Nick, Scott and Jon; and his sister Rosanna.

In lieu of flowers donations in Jim's name may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
