He is survived by: his wife Erin; his children, Lilly and Patrick; his parents, Selim Dere and Aysel Dere; his sister Semra (Mark Stiles); his siblings-in-law, Patrice (Ian Shupack) and Sean Neary; his father-in-law Bobby Pryor; and his nieces and nephews, Steven, Giselle, Stephanie, Nick, Tyler, Jordan, Clare, Morgan, Kevin, Brendan and Jennifer. He is also survived by his family and the many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Feeney Funeral Home (232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood, NJ 07450). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mark's Syriac Orthodox Cathedral (55 W Midland Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652).
