He was predeceased by: his brother Robert; and his parents, Edmond and Edna. He is survived by: his grandchildren, New Orleans and Jazz Fest; his wife Mary; his daughters, Juliana (Thor Benander) and Cristina (Jim Anderson); and his siblings, Edmond Farrell and Grace Burns. He is also survived by many in‑laws, nieces, and nephews.
