With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen A. Badu of Ridgewood, New Jersey, who passed away on April 29, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Grote and Dorothy Grote (Loomis); and her brother Keith Grote. She is survived by: her husband Philip Badu; her sons, Marshall Badu and Trevor Badu; her daughter-in-law Melissa Badu; her grandchildren, Max, Catherine and Devin; and her siblings, Edith Grote, Evelyn Grote and Kevin Grote.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathleen's memory to the Barn Hill, the American Cancer Society and the Vernon Ambulance and Fire departments.
