It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lee Botwen of Ridgewood, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Jay Botwen; her daughters, Jill Sandor and Dawn Botwen; her grandchildren, Jamie Sabella (Dan) of Paramus, Kerrie Dunlap (Michael) of Mount Laurel, Matthew Sandor of Hoboken, Lindsay Sandor of Pompton Lakes, Dylan Hauver of Phoenix and Ryan Hauver of Ridgewood; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Derek Sabella, Aria and Trevor Dunlap; and her siblings, Edwin Thorne, Andrew Thorne and Evelyn Young.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home (306 E Ridgewood Ave, Ridgewood, NJ 07450). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Mary Botwen would be greatly appreciated.
