Neil H. Ekblom Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neil H. Ekblom Sr. of Ridgewood, New Jersey, born in West Islip, New York, who passed away on September 17, 2022 at the age of 62. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Neil H. Ekblom Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ekblom, and Elizabeth Ekblom, Sr.; and his father-in-law William B. Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Frances Hanson Ekblom; his children, Neil H. Ekblom, Jr. of Ridgewood and Margaret H. Ekblom of Ridgewood; his siblings, Maryann Cudd (Robert James) and Harry Ekblom Jr. (Jane); his siblings-in-law, Joanne Karoutsos (Paul) and William Hanson (Lisa); and his mother-in-law Ester Hanson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Neil's memory may be made to the Dominican Friars Health Care Ministry of New York, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Department of Thoracic Surgery.
