He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew and Bertha; his wife Eleanor Hollingshead; his stepchildren, Nancy Schwind (Mark), Carole Di Maso (Albert), Robert Marshall Jr. (Joy) and Mary Marshall; and his grandchildren, Megan Hannis (William), Thomas Schwind (Stefanie), Jeffrey Schwind (Jillian), Lisa Patch (Jeffrey), James Di Maso (Chandy), Kristina Clark (Kyle), Michelle Hull (Brandon) and Robert E. Marshall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ridgewood Fire Department or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-two causes close to his heart.
