He is survived by: his children, Leslie, Jim Royer, Louis, Marian Billera, Amy and Terry Welsh; his grandchildren, Leigh, Michael Catalano, Daniel, Amy Wilson, Bryan, Rebecca Welsh, Dr. Louis M. Billera, Dr. Jennie Billera, Nikki and Karl Steiner; his great grandchildren, Ilio, Abriana, John, Elsie, Vince and Audrey; and his pet Zoe. He is also survived by several extended family members; and many dear friends.
