He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Wasyl Lenyk and Anna Lenyk; his wife Peggy of Ringwood, NJ; his children, Jennifer Ness (Shawn) of West Milford, NJ and Michael Lenyk (Joelene) of Ringwood, NJ; his grandchildren, Allison Lenyk, Lauren Lenyk and Ethan Ness; and his siblings, Lesia Frawley (Ray), Orisia Dwyer of Wayne, NJ, Igor Lenyk (Diana) of Ocala, FL, Wasyl Lenyk (Vivian) of Randolph, NJ. and Miron Lenyk. He was also cherished by his family and friends.

“I always said a good mechanic was worth his weight in Gold. Slawko was more than that... He was a Decent, Trustworthy, Good Person that had worked on my cars for over 30 years and I considered him a Friend. It wasn't enough to just discuss business but he always took the time to have just friendly conversation about our families or jobs. I'm so sorry that I found out so late about his passing, I would have loved to have paid my last respects to him and his family. R.I.P. my old friend.”
