We bid farewell to Philomena Connell of River Edge, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 28, 2026 at the age of 88. Philomena touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Maggie, Tessie, Bridget, Michael Joe, Jimmy and Christy.
She is survived by: her husband Matt; her daughters, Julie Connell (Evan) and Colette Murray (Brian); her sister Julia; and her brother-in-law Mike Quinn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home (268 Kinderkamack Rd, Oradell, NJ 07649). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter (445 Fifth Avenue, River Edge, NJ 07661).
