He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cindy; his children, Laura Cunningham (Michael) and Richard Briggs (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Brooke, Aidan and Landon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richards Funeral Home- Riverdale (4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, NJ 07457). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pompton Reformed Church (59 Hamburg Turnpike, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the North Jersey Community Animal Shelter, 23 Brandt Lane, Bloomingdale, NJ 07403.
