With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen (Mimi) Helen McDermott (Riverside, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William McDermott and Margaret McDermott; her significant other John F. McDermott Jr. (Jack); her brother William McDermott (Wink); her nephew Daniel Ryan Meador; and her sister-in-law Colleen Pierce McDermott.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Lowther (Steve) and Jason McDermott (Michele); her granddaughter Kasey Stelzer (Hans); her great grandchild Nolan John Stelzer; her siblings, Linda Vailati, Ronald McDermott (Julia), George McDermott (Mary) and Daniel McDermott; and her siblings-in-law, Eileen Lubosco (Ralph), Patricia Purdum (Smith) and Thomas McDermott (Sue).
