He is survived by: his brothers, Carl Hackney (Nikki) of Georgia and Wayne Hackney (Carol) of Alabama; and his nieces and nephews, Troy Dakin Hackney, Dylan Cole Hackney, Alexus Nicole and Sofia Grace Hackney. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
