She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Bishop and Earl Bishop; her brothers, Earl and Charles "Tootsie" Bishop; and her husband John Vandy.

She is survived by: her children, Susan, John (Eileen), Kathleen, Michael (Margaret), Patricia and Cara; her grandchildren, Sean Snowden and Neva Snowden; her great grandchild Ben Snowden; and her brothers, William "Sam" Bishop and Cornelius "Ducky" Bishop.

She was the rock upon which lives were built; our quiet, steady, sure foundation.
