The memory of Francis Kiernan of Rochelle Park, New Jersey, born in Englewood, New Jersey, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn; his close friends, Harry, Julie, Kathie and George; his brother Jim; his children, Dr. Joseph Kiernan (late Barbara), Rosemary Harris (Wayne), Michele Gallina (Anthony), Kathleen Garrison (George), Steven Kiernan (Kim), John Kiernan (Joann), Maureen Scheffler (Peter) and Sharon Sims (William); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Joel), Donna (Bach), Jill (Will), Timothy (Stephanie), Stephanie, Amy, Jesse, Nicole and Justina (Connor); and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Riley, Caitlin, Alex, Madison, Dillon, Kayla, Brielle, Benjamin, Charlotte, Gianna, Anthony, Cooper, Miles, Harper, Josephine (Jo) and Maverick. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart R. C. Church (12 Terrace Ave, Rochelle Park, NJ 07662).
